2007
Small Ships May: From Torquay to St Peter Port Guensey. For this event we entered one boat, our skipper was awarded the prize for the youngest skipper of the race.
Small Ships October: Cowes. We entered two boats and were delighted to recieve the Richard Langhorn trophy for ‘The Spirit of the Race’ due to the number of young people we had encouraged to attend.
November 2007
The Sail Training International Conference.
We had a large representation at the most important sail training event of the year - at least 8 representatives of The Captains Daughters were present. We were particularly pleased by the reception we were given by all the people we met, and seemed to be a cause for excitement and interest no matter who we spoke to… and we did speak to many people. It was a fun, but thoroughly exhausting weekend. It saw us make some of the final decisions regarding boats for the Tall Ships 2008.
